Still on it. Still doing fabulously. Playing with the numbers/colors on the Excel spreadsheet my roommate set up for me still amuses me to know end.

I still think I might need a second job in order to save up enough for a vacation for this summer.

As far as other resolutions go, I've actually gone to a few events and met nice people to possibly hang out with later.

Nobody as fabulous as guild people, of course. You have to start somewhere.

Whee!

Just made a budget on the computer (with help from my wonderful, fabulous roommate!) It's shiny. I like it.

Now comes the really hard part: sticking to it.

I wish I had a printer so I could print a copy for reference when I am tempted to spend money on garbage.

Resolutions

I can't even remember last year's resolutions, so at least by posting these I'll have them someplace I can find them again. They're very mature this year because I'm getting tired of all the problems being irresponsible brings. However, being mature doesn't mean "stop having fun." Its more supposed to mean "stop running up the credit card buying movies you never watch and clothes you never wear and save up for something you really want."

So that would make resolution #1 be: get a budget. Set some saving goals. Pay off old debt and stop accumulating new debt. Keep track of my balance so I stop bouncing stuff.

#2: If I do well on #1, I should have enough money for a vacation this summer. Like, a week long vacation. Last year I only had the time/money to go on a four day camping trip with friends, which, while it was fun, was not long enough to really qualify as vacation.

#3: Learn to surf while on said vacation.

#4: Make my current job the first job I've kept for two years running.

#5: Make some friends in New York. I have lots of friends, they're just never in the same state as me. This state of affairs is distressing.

#6: Get a part-time job somewhere to help pay off the credit card and start saving for whatever.

#7: Because it's traditional, learn to eat healthier, exercise more, weight, blah blah blah.
