The school has been having problems, to put it mildly, putting together a school play this year, and my friend has had it sort of tossed at her at the last minute and with very little budget. She is therefore going with several one act plays in the public domain. Does anyone have any suggestions? They need to be FREE and appropriate for high schoolers. (Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All for You is not old enough to be in the public domain, sorry guys.) Adaptations of longer works would be fabulous, but again, only if they are in the public domain or are specifically listed by the author as FREE to perform.

I'm terribly excited. I want to direct one of them, but probably won't be able to due to time contraints (yearbook. Bleah.)
